Clogged Drain Repair
Clogged drains cleared and actually fixed.
From a backed-up kitchen sink to a main line that won’t clear, Wes finds the real blockage and solves it, not just punches a hole and moves on.
The honest version
A clogged drain is often a symptom, not the whole story.
A single slow kitchen drain might just be grease and food particles. But a drain that backs up again every two weeks, or every fixture in the house that gurgles at the same time, is telling you something is wrong further down the line. Snaking it again just buys a few more weeks before the same call.
Wes has been clearing clogged drains and tracing them back to their cause on the Front Range for years. He will tell you straight whether the fix is a twenty-minute clearing or a sign of something bigger, and he will not upsell you on work that is not needed. Get a straight price before any work starts.

Kitchen and bathroom drains
Hair, grease, and everything in between.
Kitchen drains clog from grease, food solids, and soap residue that accumulate along the pipe wall over time. Bathroom drains clog from hair, soap, and shampoo buildup around the stopper and in the trap. Both are common, both are fixable, and both tend to come back unless the cause is actually cleared and not just pushed further down.
Wes clears kitchen and bathroom clogs at the source. A snake handles most of them. For stubborn grease buildup deeper in the line, hydro jetting scours the pipe back to clean and keeps it clear longer than a snake alone. Either way you get an honest look at why it happened before we close it up.

Main line and whole-house backups
When the whole house stops draining.
If multiple fixtures back up at the same time, or the lowest drain in the house is overflowing when someone flushes upstairs, the clog is not at a fixture. It is in the main line. That is a different problem that requires a different approach, and snaking a tub drain will not touch it.
A main line clog can come from years of grease and debris accumulation, tree roots that have worked their way into a joint, a belly in the line where waste sits and builds up, or a partial collapse in older pipe. Wes runs a camera first to see exactly what is happening before quoting any repair. You see the footage and get a straight explanation of what is there and what it takes to fix it. If a full sewer repair is needed, he handles that too. Reach out and we will take a look.

Floor drains and laundry lines
The drains that get ignored until they overflow.
Floor drains in basements, utility rooms, and garages sit untouched for years until the water has nowhere to go. Laundry drain lines clog from lint, detergent residue, and soap buildup that accumulates inside standpipes and the line behind the wall. When either one backs up, it tends to do so at the worst possible time.
Wes clears floor drains and laundry lines and checks the condition of the line while he is there. On older homes in the Littleton and Denver area, these lines are often clay or cast iron that has been slowly narrowing for decades. A camera check tells you whether a clearing is going to hold or whether the line itself needs attention before the next flood.

Why master plumber and licensed GC matters
The clog is one thing. What it hid is another.
A clogged drain is usually straightforward. But sometimes the clog is a sign of something behind the wall: a cracked fitting, a failed wax ring, a drain line that has shifted over time. A drain clearing company clears the drain and leaves. A master plumber looks at the full picture.
Wes holds a master plumber license and a plumbing contractor license, which means if the clog turns out to be caused by a broken fitting in the wall, a rotted floor underneath a leaking drain, or a pipe that needs rerouting through a finished ceiling, he can handle all of it in one call. No coordination between trades, no second quote from a GC, no two separate crews. He assesses, explains, and fixes the whole problem. That is worth a lot when a clog turns into something bigger, and on older Front Range homes it happens more often than people expect. See recent work or get in touch.

Questions we get about clogged drains.
Why does my drain keep clogging after it gets cleared?
A drain that clogs repeatedly usually has a cause that snaking alone does not fix: grease buildup on the pipe walls, a belly in the line where waste collects, tree roots that have found a joint, or a partial crack that catches debris. We camera the line to see what is actually going on so we can fix the cause, not just clear it again.
What is the difference between snaking and hydro jetting?
A snake punches a hole through the clog. Hydro jetting uses high-pressure water to scour the full interior of the pipe back to clean. For a simple hair or soap clog, a snake is usually enough. For grease lines, main line buildup, or a drain that keeps coming back, jetting does a better and longer-lasting job.
How do I know if my clog is in one drain or the main line?
If one fixture is slow or backed up, it is usually that drain’s local line. If multiple fixtures back up at the same time, or you hear gurgling in other drains when one is used, the problem is in the main line. Main line clogs require a different fix than a fixture clog, and a camera confirms which it is.
Can tree roots really clog a drain line?
Yes, and it is common in older Front Range neighborhoods. Roots find hairline cracks at pipe joints and grow into the line over time. A light root intrusion can sometimes be cut and cleared. A heavy intrusion or a cracked pipe usually needs repair or replacement. We camera the line first so you know which situation you are in before any money is spent.
Do you clear drains in older homes with clay or cast iron pipe?
Yes. Many Littleton and Denver-area homes were built with clay or cast iron that has been in the ground for fifty or sixty years. We know what those lines look like and how to work in them without causing additional damage. If the pipe itself is failing and causing the clogs, we will tell you straight and show you the camera footage.
How much does clogged drain repair cost?
A straightforward drain clearing is one of the more affordable plumbing calls. Main line clogs, hydro jetting, and anything that requires camera inspection or pipe repair cost more and depend on what we find. You get a straight number before any larger work starts, not after. Call (303) 883-9075 or reach out for a free look.
Do I need to be home for a drain cleaning?
For an interior drain you do, since we need access to the affected fixtures and often to a cleanout. For a main line cleanout in a yard or crawlspace we can sometimes work without interior access, but it depends on the setup. Call us and we can sort out logistics before scheduling.
Drain backed up right now?
Call Wes day or night and get it cleared the right way, not just punched through until next time.
