Frozen, burst & repiping
Colorado winters are hard on pipe.
A frozen line at altitude can split a pipe before you ever see a drip, and then thaw into a flood. We thaw and repair frozen and burst pipes, and we fix the reason it froze so next winter is not a repeat. Crawlspaces, exterior walls, and unheated runs are the usual suspects.
When a home is on old galvanized or failing pipe, patching one leak at a time is a losing game. A repipe in copper or PEX is the permanent fix, and as a master plumber and GC, Wes can do the pipe and the wall and ceiling work around it.

Pressure & the main line
Too much pressure is its own leak.
Low pressure gets the complaints, but high pressure quietly does the damage: it stresses every joint, shortens the life of your water heater and appliances, and turns a small weakness into a burst. A failing pressure regulator is a common culprit on the Front Range, and most folks never think to check it.
We test your pressure, replace the regulator when it is shot, and repair or replace the main water line from the meter to the house when it is the source of trouble. Get the pressure right and a lot of nuisance leaks simply stop happening.

Slab leaks
Slab leaks and the damage they hide.
A slab leak is one of the sneakiest problems a home can have: a supply line leaking under the concrete foundation, where you cannot see it. The first signs are subtle, a warm spot on the floor, a jump in the bill, the sound of water running with everything off, or a crack that was not there before. Left alone it undermines the slab and feeds mold.
We locate slab leaks precisely so the repair is targeted, not a jackhammer fishing expedition. Depending on the situation we repair in place, re-route the line, or repipe that run entirely. We will also walk you through what we found in plain terms, which helps if you end up filing an insurance claim on the water damage.

Questions we get a lot.
How do you find a hidden leak?
We use the signs (water use, moisture, sound, temperature) and our experience to narrow it down, then confirm the exact spot before opening anything. That keeps the repair small and precise.
What is a slab leak?
A leak in the water lines running under your concrete slab. Signs include a warm spot on the floor, a spike in your bill, or the sound of running water with everything off. We locate and repair them.
My pipes froze. What now?
Call right away. We thaw and repair frozen or burst lines, and then fix the reason it froze, whether that is insulation, an exposed run, or a draft, so it does not happen again.
Should I repipe or keep patching?
If you are on old galvanized pipe and chasing leak after leak, a repipe in copper or PEX is usually the cheaper path in the long run. We will give you a straight comparison.
Do you fix low water pressure?
Yes. Low pressure can come from corroded pipe, a bad pressure regulator, or a partially closed valve. We find the cause and fix it.
How can I tell if I have a hidden leak?
Watch for a water bill that climbed without a reason, the sound of running water with everything off, a warm or damp spot on the floor, a musty smell, or a stain that keeps returning. Any of those is worth a call before it gets worse.
What does PEX repiping involve?
We run new flexible PEX lines to replace failing pipe, working through as few access points as we can. It is faster and less invasive than old-style copper repipes, resists freezing better, and as a GC, Wes patches the walls back when we are done.
My water bill jumped but I do not see a leak. Can you help?
Yes, that is a classic hidden leak. We will check pressure, fixtures, the irrigation, and the supply lines to pin down where the water is going, then fix it. A sudden bill spike almost always has a real cause.
